For My Lord and My Lady
You can hear her whisper through the trees
as she prays for her lover,
"Please come back safely to me."
Her smile can be seen throughout the land
her laughter can sooth even the wildest of all men
for her love is as pure as the soft light of the moon
her heart is open for all in her sight
this lady that can bring all to their knees
searches only for the one heart that she can see.
He hears her from away in a distance land
his lady is waiting for the touch of his hand
her whispers touch deep in his soul
and makes him always feel whole.
For he yearns to be back by her side
to hold the one thing that holds his deepest of pride
to have such a beauty by his side
the one who is pure and whole.
The lady softly whispers his name oh so dear
for they are the two that can never be broken
their soft whispers will always be spoken
the love they share will live in eternity.
For the Lord and His Lady,
truer words have never been spoken
their undying love can never be broken
their souls are as one
and their hearts are so pure
and they share the hope that all men can hold so dear.
They'll live forever this pair that is live
for the Lord and the Lady live on in time
